| Forward Hatch Grab Rails | ||
| | Once past the shrouds there is nothing really to grab hold of with any security. I had Stainless Outfitters make these grab rails and attached them around the forward hatch. Now there are places to hold onto and to or clip onto if needed. | |

| Old chain plates went through deck in a recess capped with a metal plate and lots of sealant. The holes were also very large compared to the plates themselves. | From an article in Good Old Boat magazine I made fibreglass "pucks" which elevated the deck area around the chain plates and diverted the water. They were epoxied to the deck and a slot cut into them for the plate. The hole in the deck was also filled in tight with epoxy so a minimum amount of sealant is now used. result: no leaks. | |
